Wednesday, Nov. 11th, we are having our Veterans Day assembly. There is also a noon dismissal this day.
In writing this week, we will begin working on our How To drafts as well as learning several comma rules. Our How To presentations will take place on November 23-24.
In Reading this week we will continue learning about non-fiction text structures. This should help your child prepare for their book projects as we continue learning how to read and understand non-fiction texts. Book projects are due Nov. 23rd, AR tests for the book they've chosen need to be taken and PASSED by Nov. 18th.
In math this week we will continue practicing our rounding and estimating skills. We will apply these to word problems and build on these skills throughout the week.
In spelling we will get a new spelling list today (Monday) and have a spelling test this Friday.
In Social Studies, we will continue to learn about the First Missourians. The test for this unit is Nov. 17th. Students will be able to use their packets for a portion of the test so it is important they make sure they correct any missed questions as we go.
1/2 AR points are due Nov 19th!!
